Circa Survive - "Juturna"

I remember having these guys recommended to me through scatter the ashes on Last.fm.

I streamed them and liked them enough at that point to order their CD online. the day it came I drove up to a really far away Indian restaurant and had time to listen to the whole album. amazing :)

Finch - "What It Is To Burn"

Finch - "What It Is To Burn" even though this CD is signed to Drive Thru records...its not the typical pop punk album you would expect it to be. its actually pretty good, and i found myself headbanging quite frequenlty to it in fact! And the features with glassjaw were another nice jem!

Cave In - "Jupiter"

Ahh yes. Cave In. The mastermind behind this hell of a masterpiece. this space rock album beats pink floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" in my humble opinion. Not to mention the prog metal influences it had. i highly suggest that you check this album out :)

I was on the darkest side of the internet. past all of those cozy post rock music compilations. on the side of the web where suicidal people seek refuge. i found a 9 minute long song. it was beautiful. although i had the misfortune of the autoplay feature being on my youtube account...so i lost it (and i wasn't logged into my youtube account so of course i had no history i could find it in) i searched and searched for months. but i couldn't find it! But than one day... out of nowhere it was in my suggested. i immeditely clicked on it. it was B E A U T I F U L. So the next day i went out and bought the CD. totally worth the $13 bucks i paid for it...

Ahh yes. My new obsession! If you know of any other post hardcore act that is as intricate as DGD, please step forward. (and it had better not be fall of troy) With Johnnies R&B vocal style along with the not super strong but yet not super weak screaming overlaying the backround. it sounds as if there are 2 tracks going on at once! Kinda like Taking Back Sunday!

ScatterTheAshes - "Devout/Modern Hymn"

Ahh yes. my 2nd favorite album :). This CD reminds me of the summer going into 10th grade. The nice memories of aesthetically atmospheric nights with my friends...good times....

Scatter the Ashes was an American post-punk band signed to the Epitaph label. They were formed in the summer of 2001 and played their first show on June 24, 2001 at the Plunge in Nashville. In 2006, they officially broke up, and two of the four members of the group went on to form a new band, MOTHER/FATHER. Demos for their unreleased second album appeared on guiltypeople.org in May 2011.

The Used - "Self Titled"

Hullo! I am Louis Fenocchi! A 16 year old musical enthusiast and collector! Her i will do my best to upload a daily album download link along with an album overview. in honor of this being my first upload. I will upload my most favorite album of all time, The Used - "Self Titled"
I remember buying his CD back in 7th grade. I was going through a rough patch in my life and Berts tremendous screams really spoke to me then!

In 2002, it was discovered that a Boston band had already trademarked the name "Used," so they decided to add "The" to their name, thus deciding "The Used". Their self-titled debut album was released on June 25, 2002, and was produced by John Feldmann. The album received mixed reviews and featured four singles: "A Box Full of Sharp Objects", "The Taste of Ink", "Buried Myself Alive", and "Blue and Yellow", with the latter three entering the charts. The album has been certified gold.[10] The Used would go on to play Warped TourOzzfest, and Projekt Revolution, as well as Box Car Racer's first and only tour. During these tours, they had a 5th member, a touring guitarist by the name of Greg Bester. He was forced to return to his home country when he couldn't get a working Visa. The band received much recognition when Bert McCracken dated Kelly Osbourne.[11] These events brought the band much fanfare and popularity. In July 2003, The Used released a compilation CD/DVD combo package titled Maybe Memories. The CD features live, rare, previously unreleased tracks, and demo material while the DVD features the history of the band, member bios, and part of a live concert. Upon its high sales, Maybe Memories has been certified platinum.
